Zoo Recount

On a cold, grey, cloudy day Room Five went to the zoo! The
teachers
made
groups
of six
then
we went to look
around the zoo.

First animal we saw was red pandas. They were
sleeping on the trees. Then one of them came down
from the
trees

 and ran away from us. Next animal we saw some
wallabys
they were
hopping
around
the field.
Then we
saw the Alligators.
The
Alligators were swimming the water. At the bottom of the hill we saw
the spider
monkeys,
they
were in the trees,
one of them was
jumping from branch to branch. After that we went to see the apps. The
apes
were
making a lot
of noises.

Then it was time to meet up at with Hohepa. Hohepa
took us for a tour around Africa. First animal we saw
was  bonbons we couldn't see them that much. Then
'we saw two cheaters.There eyes looked evil. After that we saw two
Elephant’s
there
names were
Burma and
Anjalie they were throwing

Bark on their backs so they can’t get sunburnt from
the sun.

The next animal we saw was Flamingos. They were
having a shower in the water. The flamingos were
making lots of
noises.

Finally we went to see the Rhinos but there
was only one
Rhino.
It was
very cool
seeing all
of the animals.
I didn't have a chance to look at the
tigers because
they were
having a surgery.
Then we went to the kids zone.

Our group went to the kids zone it
was very
fun being at
the kids
zone
because I
got to have one
chance to slide down the slide.
