Matariki Breakfast

This week we were finishing up our reading.

The book was called Matariki Breakfast. We had to read the book and listen at the same time.

I finished the book and listening. We had to look in the book for Verbs, Nouns and Adjectives.

Then I had to memorise the book and write it out. of the beginning, middle and End.

Yesterday we finished our art. first we got glossy paper so it is easy. To pull the tap off then. We put more tap to make some shapes. After we made the shapes then we got some colours. later we coloured our shapes.

When we were finished we all took some photos. After that we put art on the walls.                                                                 

             




                                                                                                                 

Aboriginal art

We made aboriginal dot art. Aboriginal art is a dot painting that has symbols.

We practice aboriginal art and we drew the symbols with paint.

Then we watched a video to teach us about the aboriginal art story.

Then we painted on the black paper. We got cotton buds to paint dots on our animal outlines.
